Regarding my future career planning, I am certain that I will return to my home country to work in my domestic place of residence. The reason I chose to work domestically is that my family and friends are all in the country, so I will feel a greater sense of belonging living and working there. Secondly, as an overseas student, I am more competitive compared to regular students and will enjoy priority settlement policies. As long as I meet the conditions, I can directly settle in first-tier cities. Moreover, my status as an international student is highly sought after in many industries, with some positions specifically requiring candidates with overseas study backgrounds. Additionally, the government offers many subsidies for international students, such as entrepreneurship subsidies and housing subsidies. Although I don’t have a particular city in mind, I would prefer to work in the city where I grew up. This way, I can frequently reunite with my parents and friends, and we can provide mutual assistance in daily life. During my years living abroad, I found that I didn’t particularly adapt to the environment here, such as inconvenient transportation and high living costs.
Although I don’t have a specific company in mind, I would like to work at the Culture and Tourism Bureau or an art museum. From what I understand, many people aspire to work in animation companies or game companies, but I don’t think this is a stable or sustainable career choice. For instance, some of the famous cartoons and games I enjoyed as a child are no longer well-known today, and the teams behind them have faded from the public eye. As a government department, the Culture and Tourism Bureau offers a more stable working environment. Positions in public service come with strong job security and no risk of layoffs.
